Take the fan/water pmp belt off , try and start the truck , if it starts you are good , shut it off right away .

Subbing , I have the same problem , y pipe to cat flanges are going . I thought I would take a gasket and make flanges to weld on to the pipes

I just had to add some weather stripping to mine , I used the weather stripping that is used with caps , cut it in 1/4 inch strips and added it to the existing gasket , worked on my last truck ....

Height wise the tire is 31.5 inchs so it will fit, it will depend on your rim offset and backspacing of your rims

yes the beds are interchangeable. the only thing to watch for is the bed bolts , most likely you will have to change a few due to breakage , as for using the stepside bed you will have to shorten ...

if the battery and alternator check out fine ,then you should start with the battery terminals , after that check all the wiring and connections for the charging system . gremlins are tough to track...

The sport trac has a slightly different roof line , so I mixed parts to get it to mount ,there was a gap I wasnt happy with , the bolts pull the console tight to the roof

the sensor is on lower latch , it is a bitch to get at , you have to remove the interior panel and remove the latch to access the door pin switch
