Just cause your speedometer reads up to 85, doesn't necessarily mean the the truck can go that fast. My old ranger read 120, but could only do 90 with it floored and going with the wind.

Had a '98 with over 240k and ran just like new w/o being overhauled, I've noticed that the 2.5L are really hard to break down unless you don't maintain it like it's supposed to...
