Re: wireless keypad

If all it does is unlock then connect the unlock wire on the module to the unlock wire on the truck. You will need to have the wiring diagram from the keypad to figure that one out.

Re: How-To: OHC Install

I put mine in the same exact spot which is fine as long as the truck is moving. If its been stopped for a bit the ambient head off the radiator does skew it a tad. I would mount it where it will be...

Re: How-To: OHC Install

There MAY be 2 of them (1 for the OHC and 1 for EATC) but what you are looking for is just to the left of the radiator between the header panel and the grill. Most of them that I have found look like...

Re: PATS problem

Re: PATS problem

Here are the steps for programming the key. You COULD have a bum one possibly but I would try these directions. It should also be on your owners manual.

Re: need to uninstall air bags... any help??

There are like 3 bolts that hold it in. Open up the glove box, press the tabs in on the sides so it will drop out of the way and look up. You will see the 3 bolts.

Re: 2004 Ford Ranger Seat Height

Not sure of the measurment but I know that when I swapped my seat rails on my seats to the power rails for the Explorer that I was able to drop the seat down a little. Might look into that. Its not a...

Re: running lights dont work...help please.

What the guy said above. I would also test the wires going in and out of the headlight switch. Make sure you have power going in and then out when you turn them on. I didnt see what year you have but...

Re: installing an aftermarket auto dimming rear view mirror

Isn't there a write up on this site somewhere?

And the key way to connect it so it doesn't drain the battery is to connect the main power wire to a keyed circuit.

I know I will have one of...

Re: added too much tranny fluid

If you have 2 lines the run under your radiator on the right hand side then you probably do. Follow those up and they would go to a smaller radiator in front of the one that cools your motor. You...

Re: added too much tranny fluid

If you have a tranny cooler just disconnect one of the lines and drain it out. You MIGHT have to start the truck up (it will flow out pretty fast then) to get enough out. Just to a little bit at a...

Jack that tire up and shake/move the top of the tire (maybe have someone watch it move also) and then do the same for the bottom. When they need to be replaced its kind of obvious when you do it this...

Re: dome light mystery

The dome light might be the door switch. Its part of the door latch. Spray it with some lubricant (not wd40, it attracts dirt) till it comes out the bottom of the door. Do that to both and see if...
