Re: axle not centered under bed?

I've measured mine and it's dead on center now. I didn't measure it before I stripped the entire rear end of the truck bare for paint, during the resto though, so it's possible that it may have been...

Re: 400,000 mile ranger!

213,745 on my 96.

I love my Ranger, and will be keeping it for life, so it will eventually see 500K miles. Will have an entirely new engine/trans combo far before then though.

Re: Charlotte Transmission help....

I'd recommend AAMCO Transmission Repair, on S. Tryon. They've rebuilt around 15-20 different Auto's for me thus far in different vehicles that I've flipped over the years. The new owners of the...

Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!

My CCW pistol. Glock 27 Gen 4 .40, with a build date of 4-20-13. 1000's of rounds fired thus far through this little beast without even a single FTF or FTE. Perfection? Beyond a doubt. I usually...

Re: What weapons are in your Ranger?

Don't worry, I honestly could care less if I have credibility in your eyes. Don't believe I was talking to you anyway, so Fuck off before i have to embarrass you in front of your online buddies. ;)

Re: What weapons are in your Ranger?

Compact Truck needs Compact Glock.

"ol reliable". My constant passenger, regardless of vehicle. Always at the ready, full clip, with one in the chamber. Literally 1000's of rounds fired through...

Re: Lowered F-150 Tire Question

Nice Truck! I actually bought an old 87 fiddy the other day, just specifically to lower, hack the muffler off to make it godawfully loud, and then paint flat black with a rattlecan. Love seeing the...

Re: Rear flip kit 03 djm

It is, if you care about your own safety, and the vehicle itself. Never work under vehicles without them being supported by jackstands, you don't wanna end up being crushed to death after whatever...

Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!

Only around $50 cheaper. Not enough to justify the long wait time, thats for damn sure. I did finally get the gun today, but I'm not down for the long wait time again. Over 100 FFL's in this area,...

Re: Your Gun Pics, Post Em Up!

Made the mistake of purchasing handgun from Cheaper than Dirt, instead of a local FFL. Has been 17 days since my order, and it still hasn't been shipped. When I call they give me the run around....

Re: 2/4 Drop?

Leo, GL with the drop. Watch out for those leaf spring shackle bolts as well, mine were a bear to remove, and my truck has no rust. Had to end up throwing some heat on em before they would budge....

Re: 2/4 Drop?

Any d21 shock will be the correct length. They all will need the inner metal sleeve from the bottom bushing of the orig shocks pressed into them. You only need a c-clamp to do the job, not hard at...

Re: 2/4 Drop?

The bottom bushing hole in the D21 rear shock is slightly larger than the stock ranger bolt that goes through the bushing. Only thing you need to do for the rear D21 shocks to fit correctly, is to...

Re: 2/4 Drop?

^ Leo, that will do it for a 2/4 drop.

LOL! I wasn't suggesting that you keep your original worn out shocks...I meant that you can still use a stock ranger replacement shock after the drop....

Re: 2/4 Drop?

D21 shocks for the rear only. Don't buy them for the front, they won't fit over the lower mounting stud on the rangers radius arm, unless you change out the bushing to the stock ranger one from the...

Re: Greensboro, NC meet! March 30th 1pm

Starting the 302 swap in mine next weekend. If I get it finished in time then I'll be there. If anyone wants to race after the meet is over, I'm for up for dragging some asses. ;)

Re: 4x4 Ranger Front Sway Bar (1 3/16 thick)

Disregard, found a fully rust-free one in the junkyard today. Picked it up for only $11. Win.

4x4 Ranger Front Sway Bar (1 3/16 thick)

Looking for a 4x4 Ranger Front Sway Bar, the bar is 1-3/16in in diameter. Any 4x4 Ranger from 1989-2011 should have one that will work. Willing to pay up to $75 for a nice/rust-free one. This is for...

Re: Ford Ranger names?

I already have a truck that I nicknamed "White Lightning" (F150 Lightning), and since I am gonna be murdering out my Ranger soon, and installing a 351W, I think that "Black Thunder" will be fitting...

Re: Had Any Compliments On Your Ranger?

LOL! It does seem to provide a little edge now and then with her. I think her watching me work on it out in the garage, which she does sometimes, helps me get lucky more than the actual truck itself...
