Thank you. I ordered a new sensor and cable a few moments ago. Not too terrible expensive if ordered on line instead of O'Reilly's. They wanted 100 bucks including tax. That was too much.

Currently @ 158,000 and running like a champ. Change oil and filter every 2500 with Castrol High mileage GTX and Motorcraft 820S filter. This truck will out live me.

My low beam quit working on the passenger side only. High beam was OK. I simply ran a wire over from the low beam on the drivers side.

Now running Morimoto projectors so it all became a moot...

Does anyone know if the "FORD" blue oval on the tailgate of my 2005 FX/4 has alignment pins like the fender emblems do or is there just the double stick tape.

Yes, easier to work on, but.....less power. The SOHC will give you many many years of trouble free service if you just change your oil a lot. I change my oil every 1500-2000 miles with a Motorcraft...
