Another way to see if cylinder 6 is getting fuel is to pull its spark plug and then crank the engine a few times to see if gas mist comes out of the spark plug hole.

Yea it is strange how the Ford manual doesn't have any info on the fuel pump wiring. My guess is that it must be in the power train and electronics troubleshooting and diagnosis guide that the shop...

OK if it's throwing the misfire code then it is likely that it's misfiring. But not necessarily 100% accurate. It could throw that code for other reasons, but it does give you a good starting point....

Just curious, how do you know Cyl 6 is misfiring?

If the plug looks brand new and is sparking ok, I am willing to bet its fuel related. A misfiring cylinder that's getting fuel should have fuel...

Looked through the manual and couldn't find anything about any wiring harnesses going to the rear of the vehicle... not sure why that is, its the Ford workshop manual.

Haha thanks but I did go to a salvage yard and got another (that's the one I rebuilt).
