sorry i haven't replied in a while i have been away from a computer. i noticed that when the iac valve is unplugged it idles low and when its plugged in it idles high, soo its just a bad iac valve?...

i did replace the gasket and i am pretty sure the air box has clicked into place.

hey i have a 99 ranger with a 4.0 and i am having trouble with a howl coming from my intake after putting in a new idle air control valve. i just put it in so it might go away after the computer...

what does my problem sound like? there is just play at the top of the clutch (some times) but still engadges no matter how much play there is in the clutch.

ha with questionable results. ive never done one before but im pretty mechanically inclined. does it require any special tools? also ive heard it could be the master cylinder, does it sound more...

ha oh now i see what you did, never actually looked to much at transfer case in my ranger yet(as i only got it about a months and half ago). ill definantly hit you up when i switch to a manual...

well im not planning on lifting it i have a prerunner for that. i just want a good reliable truck with good gas mileage and maybe a little more of an agressive look

mileage, excessive wear, strength, etc i will eventually get manual locking huds but i need to use my truck in the mean time

ya i want to eventually switch to manual locking hubs, but i just wanted to make sure that the hubs were my problem and that its not something in the transfer case
