The speedometer and tach can be hooked to the factory signal wires. My original oil pressure switch was not hooked to the computer just the "Fake" gauge so I just swapped it out for the new sending...

It's not the resistance but rather that LED bulbs are polarity sensitive while filament bulbs are not and because the blinker mod depends on reversing polarity for the side marker blink it won't work.
