Transmission Depot vs Transmission Authority?

Hello, just curious if anyone has experience with remanufactured transmissions sold by RockAuto (Transmission Authority brand) or from Transmission Depot (transdepot.net)?

They are about the same...

A little loose to allow for thermal contraction/expansion. Take the plastic guard off under the hood and have someone else hold the gas pedal to the floor. Then manually see if the throttle is wide...

That seems like a great idea Tankmbt. My wife's '01 Toyota Tacoma 4x4, and my '83 RX-7 both have adjuster built in. Really wish Ford had given us adjusters.

MacGyver fixes with Zip Ties is not a proper fix. Your throttle cable should have some free play in it.

Unscientifically placed zip ties can be a bad thing and it is likely to cause even more...

Yeah, it does make a difference. I did it to mine and overall I'm happy with the better shifting when I'm towing the boat. Still I'm not sure this is a good thing for the transmission.

That is what i am wondering too. Only the back hole of the bracket is oval, the front is round so it doesn't adjust there. In order to adjust there it would require drilling or filing the bracket.
