Re: A No Weld Chassis....
Argon/Co2 mix isn't that much. It costs me $60 to fill my Q size tank and it will last me quite a long time. I think Ive had my welder for 8 years now and filled it 3 times.

Not cancelled. The Cab and frame might have been crushed, but I kept the vin tag. And the Vin will live on, just not in ranger form.
I like simplicity. LS motors are nice and simple and...

Re: Back to the Drawing board....47's and 1tons.
I already have a motor, Supercharged and intercooled 5.3L LM7 Chevy. Im not a fan of fords motors. Plus my motor has at least 100hp more then one of those 347's. LS power is where its at.

Re: Back to the Drawing board....47's and 1tons.
Cut the axles out from under the frame today. I'm going to have to make a rack or something to move them around on. They really suck to try and move.

Re: Back to the Drawing board....47's and 1tons.
Got the brakes off one of the axles today. Figured out that at least one of them is a Ujoint style axle, which is the best version compared to the ball/claw and reprezza styles.

Re: got my 2 dana 44 need help lol
You should be buying 3/4 ton outers and selling them on pirate. If that price is true then you are in a area that is rare, that is not the case most places.

Re: got my 2 dana 44 need help lol
Cost. Fullwidth 8.8 rears are dirt cheap and then you dont have to touch the outers on the front axle. It would really depend on the tire size he is running. 35-36" tires skip the sterling, 38-39"...

Re: got my 2 dana 44 need help lol
F150 front end will be fullwidth. about 5" wider then your stock 8.8. Since you have a LVL2 I would pull your rear axle and sell it. Its worth a good amount of money to ranger owners. I would...

Re: Back to the Drawing board....47's and 1tons.
