Re: 4.6 anyone

I wasn't correcting you. You need a sense of humor, or an attitude adjustment. I was wrong on the 03-04 part. It was 99 to 01 that have the engine with non reuseable main bolts, but oh well. I...

Re: 96 will only start if floored

Mine did this for a while, so I might check the tps and maf. I am converting to speed density eventually so not gonna buy a maf, but I do have a spare tps from old engine. Glad to see I am not the...

Re: 2.5L engine swap

I would stick with the 2.5 and do some mods to it if your looking for more performance. Its alot of work to do a V6 swap really. I think you should look at turbocharging the 2.5 or supercharging...

Re: 4.6 anyone

He has the italian 4.6 you refer to. LOL Its called a teksid block. Same one thats used in the 03-04 svt. Main differance is the crank isn't the same, and the main bolts can be reused. You have a...

Re: Remote Turbo Set Up On A 302?

you could make 500 to 600 hp at the wheels. GT45 is an ebay turbo, and they seam to be pretty good for the 300.00 price tag. Also a 351w will fit just fine. They are a bit wider and need a bit...

Re: What are your top 5 ps3 games...

I like MAG, and Socom, MW2, but I also would like to get the new SOCOM when it comes out, and the racing game I saw a commercial for last night. Can't remember the name or else I would give it.

Re: need help on 302 swap

I would stay auto if I was you. Manuals are harder to setup with the different types of manuals that they did. A M50D is a good tranny but it might be differant than the toyo or mitsu that you have...

Re: Remote Turbo Set Up On A 302?

It is very possible, and it has allready been done. You would want at least 3 inch if not 3.5. Man thing is you want to mount the turbo to the frame rail so its weight is supported. You need to...

Re: 2003 2.3 ecu problem please help

If you ever have an electronic device get water in it, go get some rice and put the device in the rice to pull the water out of it. As far as computers go, 98 to 2001.5 are all the same, but you...

Re: turbocharging a 2.5L

What kinda turbo we talkin. Let us know so me or micheal, can tell you if its will work. 2.5 costs about 2000.00 to do it right. Could be done for less, but for 2000.00 you will have a truck that...

Re: I did 105 mph omg!!!

I'm into drag racing. Thats where you get up to a high speed and then slow it down. When I did it I was on a hill that went into a straight away, so I only went above the normal speed for a very...

Re: I did 105 mph omg!!!

I know it does. I have drove by a few high speed collisions in my time. The point is that I did it in a controlled are, and it wasn't like I was zipping in between cars, and putting others at risk,...

Re: 2.3/2.5 rpm....?

205/70R14 at 70 was like 2500 or 2700rpm with 373s or 355s. I could hook it back up to confirm though. This is on a 92 2.3 ranger 5 speed. M50D has a pretty big od IMO.

Re: 4 cyl swap

you would want the C3 or C5 transmission, but not sure they came in a 4x4. I think most 4cly where manuals. I'd just look for an auto for the v6. 4x4 2.3s are very rare. Not sure why ford didn't...

Re: 2.3 rebuild

should be like 8 or 10 at an idle. Check with a timing light, and make sure the plastic cover for your belt is tight for a proper read. As far as the rebuild goes, if you do it your self, you could...

Re: Intake Gasket?

It could. They are cheap at napa, and its not that hard to replace. Its also a good time to replace the spark plugs since its pretty much impossible to get at them with the intake on.
