Anything that has to do with Airbag wiring, Leave It Alone! you don't want to tamper with that stuff or you may have a bigger problem on your hands. I ran an extra wire, with fuse, from the battery...

from what I can tell its easier to get a used one as the new cost is $30 and the dealer wants to sell the socket with it also.

yeah but the Maplights on the OHC still turn on. I pulled out the Dome to install and tap in wiring and when reinstalled everything the dome only works when the doors are shut and I toggle the switch...

Let me clarify, the Dome light only works with the Doors closed( and I switch on the dome light), when I open the doors only the new OHC map lights work. clearly its an energy problem with draining...

I have a 00' 2WD V6 @ 90,000mi. I changed the upper control arms and upper and lower ball joints last week. the boots were dried out and cracked pretty badly so it needed to be done.
