Re: How narrow can we go?

You better tell all the rally car drivers they're full of BS, that wide tires work better than narrow when there's snow. Seems they all go to a narrower tire, usually studs too. But they clearly...

Re: How narrow can we go?

When you look on Tire Rack (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?customSizeSearch=&width=215%2F&ratio=85&diameter=16) you will find they give rim width compatability in the specs. Some...

Re: Back pressure question

The computers have a limited range they will work within. There's a tremendous aftermarket that deals with those limitations. So EFI doesn't really deal with everything without problem, it will...

Re: How narrow can we go?

Clearly it isn't about looks, it's about best way to cut through snow. In snow rally cars go to extremely narrow tires and studs.

I plan to do the same thing next year on my 2wd, narrow tires...

Re: Flasher Relay Location???

That set of pictures... looks like that throttle pedal could use the zip-tie trick to tighten up the throttle cable... just sayin'...

By the way, thanks for pointing out the location. Is it the...

Re: 94 2.3 3/4 drop kit

Front shocks are stock length. As said, rears are Nissan D21 Hardbody shocks, I used 1990 as my reference year (1990 Nissan D21) when I bought my air shocks.

By the way, don't forget to spray a...

Re: Back pressure question

As was said, "back pressure" is a poor term. What one wants is the exhaust to essentially stop flow at the precise time the cylinder is totally evacuated of exhaust, not allowing any of the fresh...

Re: Back pressure question

A computer will not compensate in power for fresh charge lost during overlap when an exhaust system has too free of flow for the engine tune. Unless, of course you've done some kind of computer...

Cargurus.com (www.cargurus.com)

Re: Question

Oddly enough, that is about the mpg I get with a 96 4.0 manual. Minimal stop/go though.

Buying through a dealer makes a difference in price. Some reputation to uphold if they're good. Also...

Re: I cant be the only one...

Worthless depends on what you want to do. If you want space that's why there are full size long beds. Of course there are those who feel those are too small and want a dump truck!

The step side...

Re: Is this a joke? (CL find)

I say if you can go look do so, you might be lucking out... or it might be a scam. If they have a title and all is good, I'd do it myself.

So then if your buddy had good experience then it may be a good buy. If not, if he's had problems, no matter how small, learn from what he's had happen to make a wise decision.

Good luck on the...

Re: Cold Air Intake

What I would really like to know is how an air intake that sucks air from a hot engine compartment using an aluminum tube that absorbs and transfers heat more than plastic can be called a "cold air...

Re: I can't be the first...

Apparently some here think all parking blocks are at a universal set height. Not true. I had hit some before with my old 98 Mazda 626 and my mother hit them with her 04 Lexus. All it takes is...

Accept your point on the debate. You should get more intake roar...

But I'm betting you'd get a better and more pleasing sound with a good muffler from Flowmaster or Magniflow. I mention them...
