I pulled a sunroof version before and it didnt work. That could just be that it was a bad unit or it may be the fact it was a sunroof model.

Thanks, I'm very pleased with them. The anthracite grey color in the center looks close to my DSG from certain angles, would be sick if they matched perfectly. But I still like em.

Lately I've had this loud squealing/screeching noise coming from what sounds like the front driver side wheel. It changes pitch in sequence with the wheel rotating.

It doesn't happen all the time,...

That's just for the compass. But the sensor may calibrate itself over time. Drive around with it for a week or so and see if it adjusts closer.

Whatever works for ya really. But its best to not mount it where wind can directly hit it.

I mounted mine on the frame below the radiator, behind and below the driver side headlight. Its not near...

I have some old American Racing Torq Thrusts right now that are plastidipped black in the center.

The plastidip was a good temporary fix, but time for something new.

Yea, I'm leaning towards the MT because I'm not crazy about the chrome center cap on the EA. Plus the MT are a bit cheaper if I did the mail in rebate.

For this particular one, looks as though it can't be changed, other MT you can. That doesn't bother me much though. I like a hint a silver around the black rim, thats why I want one of these two.
