well, i opened up the cans and the contents were in good shape. had to stir up the base material but it gelled nicely. Didn't stink other than chemical smell.

Long story short.. my wife bought me a tinted Monstaliner kit for my birthday 3-4 years ago and NEVER used it!! The kit has been sitting in my basement unopened and unused for all those years.

up here, it usually takes about 3-5 years before significant rust starts to show. if you are religious about washing - even in the winter - the damage can be delayed.

you could use cedar decking planks and marine plywood lol. coat everything with truck bedliner. it would be hard as steel.

I see there are plenty of aftermarket assemblies on the market (Summit, Ebay, Amazon Etc Etc) but i don't really know if one is better than the next?
