Could also be a Battery with more than a bad cell or two too... It's electrical, it can go at a thought if it wants not really wind down so much.
Take Battery, Starter off, take to local Auto...

After your fix, I'd recommend a trip to the local $1.25 store [lol] and get yourself a box of Moth balls. Don't need to overkill it, but 1-3 placed in the engine bay should keep away any squirrels,...
