Fixed it!
Thanks for the ideas and others having the same problem.
Well here is the fix.
First the problem.
The Ranger wouldn't start, but all of the lights, radio would come on. I took the starter out...

Won't start in Park, will start in neutral?
Hi
I have a 98 Ford Ranger 3.0 6 cyl. Auto.
Won't start in park.
Tested Battery, Tested Starter both were fine.
Retraced starting procedure just to make sure that that shifter was in correct...
