Front hub assembly replacement

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger 4wd that I'm replacing the front hub assembly on. There is the plastic washer under the vacuum lock out. What does that do anyways? I plan on converting this over to manual...

Ranger goes in for a new master cylinder for the clutch tomorrow. Hopefully that fixes the problem. Clutch and slave were replaced last summer. The clutch has been bled twice and after about a month...

Spring project (when it get much warmer out) will be to overhaul the rear suspension. New control arms, rear shocks, and new pads and rotors.

I'm still rocking the Ranger. It's paid for. Makes for a good winter beater. Until the 2011+ F150 come down in price I'll stick with the Ranger. I'm poor.

Well I haven't updated this thread in awhile. Car has been in storage the last couple months. The 4.10 gears have just over 800 miles on them. Going to change out the rear end fluid in the spring....

Suspension will be he next step. Once I get the gears installed. Still have to order the rebuild kit for my limited slip then try and get my boss to help me install everything one weekend.
