Got it from Rock auto, and that is the one they listed for my Vin V code. Like you said it should work, just will not fit in the brace.

I just did it, except i did not replace the heater hoses. My heater hoses had a T with 2 small hoses going to the Crank Vent for some reason.

The lower hose is a pain, It also has a T fitting...

White smoke is water. To check pull the plugs and the plug with a white looking hard powder will tell you if you are getting coolant in the chamber. It looks like built up white stuff

The ones for the 3.0 are 265 per. After shipping and tax you are looking at an easy 600. Don't know the price on the 4.0's, should be higher since they are overhead cam motors.
