Re: Extra electrical connections near front bumper?

I thought I saw 2 connections on the left, 2 on the right. Or maybe just two on the right side, can't remember now.

Is it possible to find the module and plug it in for DRL? Do you know if they...

Extra electrical connections near front bumper?

Hey guys, recently I replaced a front bumper on my dad's 98 ranger xlt. His truck had the regular chrome bumper with no fog lights, but I noticed it had electrical connections behind the bumper just...

Re: Battey goes dead looking for battery saver relay

Holy thread bump. I had the same issue, but after replacing the battery it would die after like 3 days.

OP mentioned that the dome light bulb was missing which means it was mostly likely his door...

Re: led light problems

Tl;Dr you have a short somewhere. Check with old school bulbs to see if it was a preexisting condition short you never noticed. Equivalent to making sure your computer is plugged in, but a required...

Re: led light problems

The blue one might be behind a box. If you are on the driver side, staring straight into your truck, in and up a little behind your plastic panel, you will see a black box thing. On the top and...

Re: buggman's Plug-in LED's leds (KY)

Do you still have white t10s for sale for the instrument cluster?

Also, is that square led light thing for the dome light? I would like a downward facing led replacement for a 912 dome light.

I...

Re: Ford Ranger Passenger Moog Upper Control Arm $40 shipped

Bump.

Lowering price. Spring Cleaning/Christmas special.

I'm tired of seeing it and it is taking up space. Just pay for shipping. I'm guessing it will be about $20 to ship, or I can probably...

Re: Ford Ranger Passenger Moog Upper Control Arm $40 shipped

Sorry for the late reply guys.

It is just the moog problem solver that replaces the ball joint, but not the bushings. My Ford Ranger is the rwd traction bar set up. ...

Re: How to: Install new plugs (4.0 V6)

I took mine off my ranger without removing the wheel. My truck is lifted though so I think it gives me a bit more clearance. However, it is a bitch to do it and is 100x easier when I removed the...

Re: How to Increase cargo capacity (buid your own trailer from a camper) how to

I'd love to do something like this for a car trailer, rather than cashing out 2000 grand minimum for a new one. For a car, would a 2 axle trailer be better to support a car? Or can 1 axle be enough?

Re: How to: Install new plugs (4.0 V6)

Thanks guys. It sounded really loud when I turned it on, so I quickly just turned it off and used my AAA to tow it. Luckily the mechanic is only 1.5 miles away. Didn't want to mess it up any more so...

Re: How To: Fuel Filter replacment on 2001-2011 Ranger

I doubt mine had been changed before at 175,000 miles. It had some yellow paint on it that appeared to be from the factory.

Re: How to: Install new plugs (4.0 V6)

Fuck.... so I was installing my plugs, I was doing one at a time and did the first 2 good on the driver side. Then the front driver side one wasn't coming out, probably didn't have the sparkplug...

Re: How To: Fuel Filter replacment on 2001-2011 Ranger

So I just did this. Didn't drain the engine and only a small drops came out. However, I ordered the 1061 and the box said 1061. But the filter was shorter and stubbier. Didn't notice until after I...

Re: New 2017 fuel economy regs dictate end of standard cab pick up

These laws have been in place since the 1970's and have nothing to do with the current president.

And car manufacturers have already found their way around these laws by making cars bigger. It...

Re: Galaxy tablet indash

Would little hinges at the top of the paperboard work so the tablet can swing up like a bed topper? Then maybe some velcro to secure it down. That way you can use the space behind it as storage, and...

Re: Nexus 7 Head Unit Install Project

Any updates?

Would it be possible to mount the tablet in the front and have it secure for easy removal and maybe having a storage cache behind it for the HDs, and wires it might need?

Re: New Member from Southern California

Nice truck!

Throttle cable mod is a must if your truck requires it.

And maybe some proper routine maintenance just to make sure everything is in check.

Re: Upper control arms and Lower Ball joints - 98-00/01+ 4x4. 2WD Also.

I ended up just doing it myself. I took some time off, then came back to it a couple days later. I used a 2x2 piece of wood and a hammer to push the UCA in without damaging it. Then it was seated...
