This looks really well built! It looks like the jumpers can still fold down on top of the box, correct? May have to implement something like this along with my jumper mod for the survival gear!

I like it. Haven't really used it to chop much so I'm not sure how it will hold up under strenuous use but that's what shovels, saws and axes are for!

Thanks! i was pretty excited to get it done. Now for a few clean-up and organizing details and I'll feel even better about it.

The knife is a Cold Steel Carbon Tanto. Great blade and heavy-ish...

^^ This. I believe you have to have the buckets in order to install the shorty console but you can find them. I have an '05 ranger with buckets and a shorty so I imagine you can find them in lots...
