Ok i know im always posting about gas mileage but mine is killing me and my wallet. I have new wires, plugs, air filter, exhaust and my fuel filter was put in around a year or a little longer ago....

Yea if it is the o2 sensors its not going to happen for a while there a little expesive although my brother works at the local auto parts store and can hopefully cut me a deal.

Ok cleaned the MAF so we will see what happens. Put the end back on the air box also just to see what it will do. Hopefully it helps.

Its still open under the air box so its not like its only getting hot air but i do know what you mean when you say that. And the pipe was falling off anyways so it wasnt helping much.

Yes exhaust smells like gas like its running rich. But no havent had a check engine light come on (knock on wood). And truck still runs good but is sucking gas like crazy

Theres not a leak when i start it theres no steam coming from anywhere where it shouldnt in my exhaust and i can see it its 20 degrees most mornings here in ohio in the mornings and i had it all...

Looked over the fuel lines like you said ranger4.0 down by where the manifolds meet where they enter the fuel filter and it wasnt wet and i didnt see any leaks coming from the filter. so still stuck...
