Re: 3.0s with Superchips Flashpaq Users
I just bought a Superchips SRC-1845 programmer (the new updated one that is on Summit Racing now) for my truck and I went to try to install a tune and the programmer is telling me that the tune...

Re: Gold 2000 xlt build
For the head lights, are they LED or halogen? I'm looking to get some LED lights on my 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4, but I don't know what to look for. I'm seeing lights on Amizon, Summit Racing, ect but I...

2.25" Exhaust for a 2000 Ranger 3.0L
Hi all,
I'm thinking about downsizing my exhaust to a 2.25" system because I feel that a 2.5" system is too big and all I am just hearing is loudness while still gutless. Obviously my main problem...

Re: 1L 3 cylinder ecoboost swap in ranger
With the 1L 3 cylinder ecoboost, you won't be able to get anymore power out of that engine than there already is. Yeah you would save weight, but the rpm's will be screaming to make the truck move. I...

Re: 3.0l Ranger Horsepower Guide v2.0
I tried the Davis Screamin' Demon coil pack for my Ranger and it kept burning out my spark plugs. I even used the Irridium spark plugs too. Not only did that happen, but it burnt my valves too. So I...

Re: Stock Exhaust Size?
My stock exhaust size on my 2000 Ford Ranger 3.0 XLT 4x4 was 2" intermediate pipe and 2" tailpipe. There was a 2.25" tailpipe flange at the end.

Dual exhaust on a 3.0
What's the recommended size for a dual exhaust set up on a 3.0 v6. I have a 2.5'' single exhaust with a flowmaster 44 series and it seems like it's too big for my engine. It's loud and sounds great,...

Engine swap: Swapping in a 4.0 SOHC in a 2000 Ranger
So I have to replace my 3.0 on my Ranger, and I was debating on swapping in a 4.0 SOHC with a new transmission instead of replacing with another 3.0. Would a 4.0 SOHC fit in a 2000 Ford Ranger? Or...

Re: Misfire code, but no misfire
I'm getting the same thing as well. I keep getting the cylinder 5 and 6 miss fire error code every time I plug in the scanner. (P305, 306) I replaced the spark plugs, wires and coil pack and it runs...

Removing catalytic converters on a 2000 Ranger
I'm just curious about this. Has anyone removed their cats on a 2000 Ford Ranger 3.0 4x4? If so did you notice any improvement? I know that my vehicle would probably throw error codes all the time,...

Re: 3.0 replace with a 3.7? Any one try this?
I would think a 3.7L V6 would fit in a Ranger. It's smaller than a 4.0L so I don't see why not. Obviously you probably will need to do modification and computer work so everything works. Installing a...

@Ordinary Biker, How long did it take for delivery? I've looked everywhere for seat covers and people and websites are asking $200+. It's ridiculous. Are they a pretty reliable company/website?

Bigger Throttle Body on a 3.0 Vulcan.

GLH, I was talking about the Goodyears. I just bought GT Radial Adventuro AT3 31x10.50x15's from America's tire for $590 bucks. They're really quiet on the road and they handle really well off road.

I've been told that they don't last their mileage warranty. Plus I had a friend that had a set on his Jeep and they didn't perform very well off road.

I have been told that those Goodyear tires don't last very long. The Goodyear Wrangler Authorities do though, but not the regular "P" sizes.

Will a rear axle with 3.73 gears be able to handle 31x10.5x15 tires?
I'm going to get 31x10.50xr15's for my Ranger and I was curious if my rear end gearing can push them.....
Any thoughts or recommendations?

I have P235/75/15's on my Ranger and they did not last very long. I'm going to install LT 31/10.50/r15's on mine. With the aftermarket exhaust, cold air filter, and a 48,000 volt supercoil I hope my...

Re: Hows your GAS MILEAGE on ur truck? Let me know here.
I have 3.73 gears and I'm running stock tire size right now. It's also an automatic. That was my best mileage after installing a 2.5" exhaust. I'm still averaging 20mpg combination which is good; but...
