I would just open up where the temperature controls are and tie into those because they have lighta behind them that come on at the same time.

I have some homemade interior door jam plates that light up and say ranger when either a door is opened or the dome light is on. Just wired them into the dome light.

it didnt take me that long to remove it, i knew that i wasnt putting the old insert back in so i just cut the tabs and it was out in 5 mins.

i had to cut the mesh lower and the bolts just fit...

Thanks. hit a bit of a snag. theres a bar that runs right behind the grill on the top portion of the ring and the mesh and bolts i had were in the way. gunna cut mesh and bolts back to fit. got...

Im doing a custom look a like fuel offroad grill for my 2010 ford ranger. Figured i would post pictures of process, see if anyone likes.
