Actually the only difference on the vortec max 6.0 is flat top pistons giving it a 10:1 compression ratio

True both are pretty good hot stock motors. A couple years after they started making the 6.0 they changed to the 5.3 VortecMAX. Not sure what the power was rated for in that one but I want to say it...

That is true but the 5.4 that's in the lightning is S/C. The vortecmax is N/A

Look up the VortecMAX 6.0L was supposed to leave the factory making a cool 425HP
