The small angle grinder will work, use a cutting wheel in it. Only problem I see is the sparks might set the foam on fire.

Use a razor blade to carefully scrape some lint off the headliner. Then put a little glue on the burn mark, and place the gray lint onto the glue. Will match pretty good. After the glue dries, rub it...

Here are my interior mods so far. Gauge pods, 60/40 to buckets, short console from 95 explorer, blue LED lights in cup holder, OHC from 99 explorer, and replaced headliner with fake leather.
