I had the same thing. In thinking throttle position sensor. I've had multiple Rangers and have lots of parts. I pulled the receptacle off the throttle body and I cut the plug off of another harness....

I have a '93 as well and I had the flat black/grey grille like you had before. I've been looking for a good chrome grille, like you put on. Where did you find yours at? Online? Or a junkyard by you?

Was it a 4x4? That might be why. I looked for a 93-94 grille for a 4x4, and I think I found what I was looking for.

I have seen Rangers with a chrome-looking grilles. I'm not talking billet, but they are the stock shape. Mine is not shiny, and I like shiny! :tongue:

I added a couple toggle switches on the left side of the steering wheel. One controls some kick panel lights that I put in, and the other one controls the train horns that I put underneath the...

I pulled the vacuum line off and capped the EGR valve where the vacuum line slips on and the vacuum line. I think it's different with the 2.5 and 3.0 though.
