Ah, I see. Well maybe now I will opt off with the same oil I've been using and try to document the consumption/leak better. I will get under it tomorrow to see if I can spot any leaking.

Well I understand that it should be smoking if it's burning oil. I'll have to take a closer look tomorrow to see if I can spot any leaks.

Does anyone think switching to a thicker oil will help...

drain plug is tight and I checked the oil filter a month ago, I got maybe a quarter turn til it was very tight.
