If this piece you are talking about is a toothed ring like a gear, its the abs right that tells the sensor how fast the wheel is goin. If I'm not mistaken new rotors should have this ring already on...

I know my 85 had a removable bell housing. Thats how the slave cylinder for the clutch is replaced. But maybe the 2wd with the external slaves might be different. Mine was 4wd.

kn is a good drop in filter. Less resriction and good filtration. if you can get a cai go for it. the kn is worth it too.

The worst part is just trying to maneuver the damn things in and out with out effin up the gaskets. Done them a few times. Even more so on my 2.8 to adjust valve clearances
