mine just went today at 246k miles. a 5/8 quick disconnect tool and a #50 torqs socket are the only tools i had to get.

from my understanding you can get a longer stroke...
from my understanding you can get a longer stroke out of the inline configuration which makes more torq(corret me if im wrong). inform your friend that heeps are for girls.

i shelled out the $$ for one. no noticeable increase in anyting other than noise. i would not buy another one. only real plus is the filter is easyer to change.
