Hard to explain chilly weather performance.

okay. so like the title says. I just replaced a blown head gasket set on my ranger 3.0. my guy also had the heads cleaned and bored and relaced a rod.
got it back last week and she runs beaifully....

I went to AutoZone and picked up the 60 bucker reader. Worked like a charm. Lead me to a dead spark plug and even let me know which one it was. Replaced all and truck...

Back from work.....added more coolant during lunch down radiator's throat while engine idled. Reservoir stayed at half full during the process. While watching the gauge on the dashboard coolant...

Sure is!
So I did that and yes I do not see any coolant within the radiator....
but the coolant's plastic tank on the side is almost full.....
Should I add some coolant directly to the radiator...

Flex fuel

Does anyone actually use the flex fuel instead of gasoline? I spotted a station that sells it near me but, even though I have the flex engine, I'm scared to use it. It it's about 35 cents cheaper too!
