Line-X is the best option for that... Not only will it protect the finish from scuffs, It will also protect from bends when you lay those heavy boards down on the gate the way some of the loaders do...

Well for starters I can tell you that Sam's Club will NOT install anything other than the stock tire size on your vehicle. They will look at the door tag and get the stock specs to determine the size...
