The solenoid is activated with voltage. Just to be sure, take a 9 volt battery and test the solenoid. You should hear it click when Voltage is applied.

Remove the alternator from the vehicle and have it tested at autozone. Alternators May test differently when they are isolated from the vehicle.

Did you use individual quarts or the gallon container? There may be a small difference in quantity (you never know). Did you allow the oil to fully drip out of the containers?

Once you get her going, have Auto zone check your alternator. A dying alternator can drain or damage a battery causing your starting problem.

If it's not the wires between the battery and starter, it could be the wires from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid.
