Re: Ford to be releasing 9 speed automatics

For one, you can make it sound however you want. You said that it will NEVER see a truck for many years. Not a few years and it might have made sense if you didn't say this "fact" on a post that was...

Re: Ford to be releasing 9 speed automatics

Actually your f150 "luxury" truck is considered a full size believe it or not. Also keep trying to justify why you have to be such and *******, it is pretty entertaining.

Re: Ford to be releasing 9 speed automatics

It's kind of sad how much people are *******s on this site. If you don't find the topic interesting why bother commenting on it, or insulting the person?

Re: Fog lights

I have never seen a tint of yellow in any HID unless it was pure yellow. I guess if you put it in some old car with foggy lights you may get this yellow you speak of.

Re: Lift kit

You should be able to fit them stock, if not give your torsion bars a bit of a crank and they will clear.

Re: 03 Ranger Edge ball joints

I would make sure they don't charge you anymore than a hour to replace that upper balljoint. I can do one in 30 min with a shitty old jack and some hand tools, but I have done them before.

Re: 2009 Ranger needs a metal tailgate handle.

Awesome, I may look into this. I have no problems yet, but I have not seen a -30 winter with the truck yet ether.

Re: How much weight can tow hooks handle?

Does this apply to the tow hooks on a 08 ranger? I have used mine once with no issue and I have actually seen that video and it kind of made me wonder lol.

Re: Help, 2004 Intermittent Starting Problem

My 08 sometimes does this, only when warm. It will "catch" and fire for a second than stall and the whole truck gives a shake. I am putting new plugs and wires on soon so we will see if that is the...

If that dose not work I always wet sanded my headlights with 1500 grit, then let it dry and wipe them clean and use some clear coat (from a rattle can) on them. They look good as new and it lasts...

Depends on what you want to spend. Blistines are probably the best, rancho are also good. But they are on the higher end of the price range. And I think rancho offers longer shocks for lift, I don't...

Re: Torsion bar question

Just look at the bolt heads for sign of use. Also you can look at the bolts themselves and see how far in they are. Stock ones stick out almost level with the torsion bar "skid plate"

Re: Leveling questions

You can crank your torsion bars up, you are lucky and have a pre 08 ranger. They made the torsion keys different for mine to lower it down a bit and you cant get much out of them by cranking them. A...

Re: 2002 Ranger XLT front end suspension question

You will never get the truck to ride any better unless you take the sway bar off. And that will just handle bumps better, but if you never use it "as a truck" then you probably wont notice the bar...
