I had a friend put his ear to the filler tube because I did not hear it when I went KOEO from the cab. The pump isn't turning on.

I didn't think it was an issue in the beginning because it wasn't tripped. It wasn't resetting itself which meant the fuel pump was not able to cut on.

I swapped the pump relay with my wiper relay. The wipers still worked fine. I have not tried the starter fluid thing because the motor tries to turn over, just the lack of fuel is holding it back. ...

No codes, and I went for the pump since the wiring looked fine and the pump wasn't cutting on. I'm not in a tight budget so a new pump is fine by me, regardless if it was the cause or not. ...

Sorry for the "noob" question, but all my experience has been in cars, not trucks.. and drops, not lifts. I've heard to just use coil spacers, then not to use them, doing an F-150 and Explorer junk...
