That's my next step. Anybody know where if any freeze plugs are located towards the back of the engine? It wouldn't surprise me having 190k on it but idk

But the coolant and oil are both clean and it doesn't smoke at all. Plus if the head gasket was bad it shouldn't piss coolant out when I shut down

I also have 31s and 3.73 gearing. That may be a factor, not to mention 188k miles

Exactly. Like this one has 1/4 steel skid plates that are removable. The bolts are on the inside so it has a flush look from the front. If I was planning on keeping my truck I would have him build me...

Yeah you'll feel it. A lot... Specially with this engine. It makes sloped on ramps to the freeway interesting when even the right lane is doing 75 mph

The only thing I regret about buying guarantee ratcheting wrenches is not buying them sooner. They make life easier in some spots where an actual ratchet and socket won't fit. I picked up a 20 piece...

I had 1200 lbs in the bed at one point for about 10 miles of surface streets. The leafs still had more to go but I would be careful not to break an axle. I had a full pallet of tile and 5 or 6 90 lb ...
