I am looking into purchasing a new exhaust kit and installing it myself. Is there anything I need to do with the motor after installing it? (had to with my motorcycle) any help is very appreciated!

I have straight pipes and I want to hollow out my cat, but I have heard that it will draw a code if you do so. Would it still draw a code if I put a muffler on? Any troubles? Thoughts? Experiences?...

Exhaust Size

I am looking at getting a new cat-back exhaust system for my 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4. I'm not sure if I should go with 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 piping. I want a deep throaty sound. Any help? Thanks!

I put on an aftermarket air intake and after that was when it started to happen. So could that intake thing you're talking about be the problem?

I am looking for something different for my current stock exhaust. I would like to put a Flowmaster Super 44 and then take off the cats. Anyone done this? How does it sound? Sensor problems?

This may sound stupid but what is "dumping" an exhaust? Is it taking off the cats? I can't find a definite answer.
