Check your grounding and try to get a different antenna. I've never even heard of that brand. That might be your problem.

Not if you tuck it up under your dash. I personally used double sided sticky tape just pushed the wire on the sticky tape up out of the way. No issues whatsoever.

If your worried about messing up wiring just run them to the cigarette plug and wire them into that. Put a switch somewhere along the wire and you can turn them on and off. Also stated is the dome...
