Your welcome Twin, I owne a 98 ranger 2.5 and I hate to change plugs and wires too! Oh, if you do pull the intake when removeing the EGR don't lose the little gasket! or just remember to replace it.

my '98 ranger 2.5 has a hard miss, like a dropped cyl. it's not a steady miss, only if you rev it up then let it come to idle the engine will stumble and sometimes stall. I've replaced all 8 plugs...
