My 4-banger is great! You really need the manual transmission though... I did a test drive in an automatic, and it was way too under powered. Both of my manual rangers are a lot of fun.

Use the belltech shackles. The belltech 6400 shackles give you 2", or the 6401 shackles give you 3"... way easier install then blocks, and they're less then $70 for the pair.
