The thing that drives me crazy about this...
The thing that drives me crazy about this situation is that sometimes the truck will idle completely fine.

Replaced the spark plug and there is still the cyl 4 misfire under 1000rpm. The rpms don't stay steady while it idles either.

I just inspected the plug after the code. Ill replace al of them in a couple days and let you know what happens. If that fixes it ill be happy for sure.

All 6 plugs are motorcraft. Also I pulled the plug the first time I had the codes but it was completely fine and gaped correctly.
The truck has 130,000 miles on it and I'm not the original owner....

I have the same problem with my 05 ranger with the 3.0. It keeps throwing misfire codes as well and I have no idea how to fix it.
