Not sure where to put this, figured I'd post here. Anyways, after looking at all the options, ive decided I'm going to replace the 3.0L flex fuel motor in my 00 ranger. Not swapping to a 4.0, or a...

Re: Let's talk shocks...

Yeah I hear that. Haha. Not looking to play too hard, just upgrade a little at a time. I know, better to just do it totally right the first time and then forget it.

Re: Let's talk shocks...

Think Fox are a little out of my budget. Haha. . Looking for more "entry level" and lower end.

Think some of the prices I've been seeing were for the pair, not individual, so maybe...

Let's talk shocks...

Tried searching, and couldn't believe how little I could find, unless I'm just missing things, in which case I apologize. Looking for a good set of (and reasonably priced) shocks. Want them to be...

Re: Tbar Crank & Shock Question..

I would do it myself, and wouldn't even think of having the shop doing it, but they just did it, and claimed it was the only way. They insisted they were correct, but clearly have no idea what...

Re: Tbar Crank & Shock Question..

Well no, it took them that long to figure out what the correct shocks were. But still, I agree. After they fix this I won't be back.

Re: Tbar Crank & Shock Question..

That's what I'm saying! Haha. I would hope theyre the right shocks, but who knows. It took them almost 2 days to figure it out the first time.
So basically, what theyre saying it total BS, like I...

Tbar Crank & Shock Question..

Let me just start off by saying I did what research I could, and just want to triple check before I go back to the shop to raise hell.

Bought the truck almost 2 years ago, torsion bars had been...

Re: Thought this would be fun. What strange things have you found in your ranger?

"Coppers" because their badges used to be of copper, no?

As per this thread, I haven't found anything that weird in my ranger.

Re: Looking for opinions on #1 tbars and shackles for my truck

Awesome, thanks man. I thought the 3" bl would look weird with only 31s, but it actually looks pretty good. Was gonna hold off to the body lift until I can afford 33s, but maybe I'll just do it soon,...

Re: Is this fixable? Creases in door.

Yeah that's what I figured, just wanted to see if there was some sort of trick I wasn't aware of. Haha. The scratch on the fender really dosent bother me that much, the creases on the door just stand...

Is this fixable? Creases in door.

It's been like this since I bought the truck a little over a year and a half ago. Guessing they're just big door dings. I don't think they're fixable, but any ideas? They're literally like creases....

Re: Looking for opinions on #1 tbars and shackles for my truck

Thanks for the help guys. Plan now is to first get a set of #1s, hopefully for a good price from a junkyard, if not I'll have to spend the ~$250 for new ones. Then a little further down the road...

Alright, awesome. Thanks, that makes it much easier. Looks like mine say UB? Would that make sense? They're the B bars.

Re: Looking for opinions on #1 tbars and shackles for my truck

Sorry, the rear isn't sagged at all, just the bars. May have jumbled that all together, my bad. And the truck definitely does not have #1s already. Might take a ride out to the local yards and see...
