As it turns out both ports are on the back of the compressor on my truck. I put on the adapters to 134a only to find the hose leaks in a couple places where it hit the alternator and compressor...

I'd like to know where they are as well. I bought an 88 with only 68K miles but I am finding out why. Are the A/C ports on the back of the compressor? I can't find any other place.
