Yeah I tried the grease trick, but didn't work for me. Ended up getting a bearing pulled and pulled it right out. I'll get the whole thing put back together over the next week or so.

Ok so update on this thread.

I have started to replace the clutch and have the transmission out of the truck with a new slave cylinder in. But the old pilot bearing had disintegrated and is stuck...

Need Help P1151

I have a 2000 3.0 2wd 5spd. I am getting a P1151 code, which reads as:
Lack of HO2S-21 Switch, Sensor Indicates Lean

Here is what I know:

All of the oxygen sensors are reading with 0.10 to 1.0...

Yeah I knew it was a gamble when I got it, but it has been great to me for about 4 or 5 years so no complaints for how much I paid. Next time I get a chance I'll have to check the fluid.

I haven't changed the fluid as this transmission hasn't been in all that long. It was pulled out of a junkyard to replace one that was abused by the previous owner. What would be more metal shavings...

I did the head gaskets in it about a year ago, haven't had heat since then. But when I did them the coolant was a lovely brownish orange, since then it's stayed clean green.

I have a 2000 3.0 with no heat at idle. I just blew out the heater core with air and change the thermostat. All the hoses get hot but like I said no heat at idle. Put your foot on the gas for normal...
