Yeah, I am going to get back to you with a photo, when it uploads to imgur. There is some size differences between the original orange one, which I kept, and the ones I got online, because they don't...

Re: New drive shaft/transmission seal leaking bad.
The housings were exactly the same. Before I even changed the old housing, after a certain point, the sensor replacements would not work.
The inside trans metal gear that the sensor plastic gear...

I replaced the housing, and it has a new seal and bushing, and it no longer leaks.
The problem is the speed sensor that goes into the housing, will no longer work. I keep replacing them, with the...

Re: New drive shaft/transmission seal leaking bad.

Re: New drive shaft/transmission seal leaking bad.
They don't make the housing easy to remove. Some of the bolts seem impossible to remove, because they put them between small gaps of the steel framing.

Yes, it is definitely less expensive. The tail-housing is only $20 to $30 to pick and pay a used one. Hopefully they have one.

Yeah, I just wanted to find out the name for it. Would a shaft repair sleeve help? Even temporarily?
I was looking at this one: Which says it fits my truck.

I found the bushing. I had it all along, and I didn't know what it was for, whether it was complete and how to put it on.

I assumed because of the exhaust problem, that this had something to do with that. But it appears I also have a transmission leak, so when I filled up the transmission fluid, it immediately went into...
