Two tuners can shut off the pats for ranger v8 swap if your interested. One does it via sct tuner. The other does it via mailing in the ecu to him. Both can be found on the facebook ranger v8 swap...

Tons has to be removed almost the whole dash has to be dissembled couple hiding bolts. I’ve had to do it once. Good luck and enjoy the rattles after.

On a ranger the a/c is used on every setting but the vent. Which is one click to the left. Reason it’s used on all the right settings is those are normally used for heat and it acts as a dehumidifier...

Someone didn’t do it, look like it vibrated down and out of the slot of the shielding to where it electrical taped. That’s your “recall” wiring for the sensor so your truck doesn’t catch fire....

2004 they upgraded the guides. did it completely fix the issue no. that motor has around a 80k failure rate on the guides they are meant to be replaced

I've had the redline tuning ones since they came out. Moved the same pair of struts and brackets to two different trucks. The pair is 10+ years old and working great still to this day on a edge hood....
