Your 33's are probably killing you. You have a 3.0 with stock gearing (3.73 or higher) I run 31's and regeared to a 4.10 ratio to put my speedo almost back to perfect and get the ratio pretty close...

Would the blower motor run fine on high (when on bypass). I was thinking the issue would lie around the resistor and voltage regulation.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you'd have the same set up, just be sure to tape it up and use an ultra sharp bit in the fiberglass. I used a countersink as well to keep the holes from spidering or cracking.
