i believe ive seen this done, i think you will prolly also need the fenders, hood and bumper, not just the grille, headlights and turn signals

i didn't have this kind of issue but i didn't have to switch my seats from my original 98 rubbers to some 04 cloths and i had to take the seats completely apart.. both sets and put the new ones on...

i think i'm experiencing the same issue.. its not the light itself but the sensor in the door that tells you if its closed or not.. i notice mine comes on here and there and gives me the singe beep...
