It helps you get to the next gear quicker at the correct rpm for a very quick shift because the engine isn't stuck at higher rpms. Derpa derp.

This is the same engine that is in the Ford Focus with the 2.0/2.3l Duratec.

There are many resources, forums, and manufacturers...

I used straight extensions after my first go with a wobble extension ended up with the wobble end releasing off my socket and the wobble end folding over in the spark plug well. It was a B**** to get...

That's a good start changing out some high-mileage maintenance items. Did you disconnect the battery for 15+ minutes to get the CEL/codes to clear? Try that first and scan for codes that still exist...

It only allows idle rev intake air into the intake manifold. If you unplug it you'll get a CEL and you'll have to keep your foot on the gas to...

I have an '01 Duratec and by unplugging the IAC you get a much better shifting truck--i.e. the revs drop quicker and it feels doubly responsive. The IAC is an emissions device, i run my IAC unplugged...
