Finally got around to replacing the waterpump and...
Finally got around to replacing the waterpump and radiator. The radiator cracked before i got the pump replaced. Overheating problem solved. Thank you for your advice in solving this issue.

Still planning on getting the water pump but wanted to give you another piece of info : after driving a while with the heat on to keep from boiling over, I stop at a light and the temperature rises...

When I said fan, I meant the heat...turned the fan on high to pull heat away. Not a manual fan. I'm not losing any coolant, don't appear to have any leaks...core, thermostat housing or anywhere...

I let it idle for about 15 or 20 minutes after I put the hose to it and filled it back up; it heated up to about 45 to 50%....way over normal for this ride. I guess it couldn't hurt to replace the...
